At 7-months, Melia is weighing 20 lbs 5 oz. She has also grown quite a bit and is 28.5 inches!! Those 9-month clothes I moved her up to last month are truly just fitting her. I'm thinking we will be pulling out 12-month clothes now!! I've got summer stuff already in that size so hoping the weather stays this nice (70's-80's) so we can start using it. Cannot believe how fast she is growing. She is a mini-David so we keep joking it will be funny to see a female David that is tall and a short me (Cameron) that is male.
We've had some ups and downs with her new medicine. They can only mix the solution 2 weeks at a time. We tried a different pharmacy on our first refill and it was mixed a little differently. Shouldn't be a big deal, but she immediately went back to waking up 3-4 times a night. I think the meds were working, but maybe not as potent so it was just enough to wake her up. On this last refill we went back to the original pharmacy (though it's not really convenient) and the very first night we were back to only getting up twice. The second night it was only one time!!! I think we will keep driving over there.
Melia is still not rolling. She can, she just really refuses. The first video is Cameron trying to coax her to do it. She fakes us out a few times. In the second video you can see her actually roll. I can probably count on one hand though the number of times she has actually done it willingly.
Cameron still loves her to death! She is his biggest fan and the rougher he is the better.

She has to be in all of his forts!

Her old man, cheesy grin!! Love it.

Showing off her 1 lonely tooth!
We made a trip to Valley of the Fire for hiking. She barely napped the entire day. In spite of that, she was really good! We even had a 1.5 hour drive to get out there and she was awake the entire time. Definitely loves to be outside.

Ready for hiking.

Melia's cool ride. ;)
We have officially stopped buying baby food! She is fully transitioning to table food (and I am refusing to blend it all up). Earlier in the month she was figuring out how to pick things up with her two fingers. About half of the food she was eating would make it to her mouth. I decided we were going to force the issue and give her tons of practice. She has done really well and for the most part can feed herself (well as long as it doesn't require a spoon/fork).

She looks a little crazy here!

Sleeping through Touch a Truck.
We had a night where she refused to go to bed. Instead she wanted to just play with Cameron. She has learned to scream/yell from him. Then he was trying to help her go to sleep. When he was little I used to do exactly what he is doing to her. He loved it (running my hand over his face/nose from top to bottom and say "close your eyes").
She has also started to try and wave bye. It only happens a small percentage of the time, but we are getting there.
She has learned how to shake her head no. She doesn't really know what it means. However, she gets a kick out of it because we will start saying "no, no, no" and laugh at her.
She also loves to be tickled! Not only does she like us to get her belly, but we figured out she has very ticklish feet!!
