The rest of June.

Melia and Cameron love to make silly faces together. She copies every single thing he does!



Of course we spent a little time at Disney. Melia was so excited to see Woody & Jesse.



Walking out of Disney, a couple had just come out of dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. They wanted to give Cameron & Melia the sword & wand they got with their dinners. Melia's has not been a princess wand...it is a sword. They have been sparring all over the house like pirates! Goes really well with the pirate guns they got.



Other pictures from the month. Melia taking a bath in the kitchen. We really never did this much with either of our kids. She thought it was pretty cool. Kept trying to turn on the spray faucet. The one picture of her smiling looks like she's in pain. She makes this smile a lot...it's her fake smile.

This is something she started doing while we were in PA.

Big Girl Bed!!

The first night she slept in the big girl bed by herself was the 22nd....right after a long day at Disney. Figured she'd be too tired to put up a fight and not know the difference. She did really well. Just like Cameron, she needed all of her favorite animals & dolls. The difference was Cameron couldn't stay in the bed when we transitioned him...fell out multiple times each night. She did pretty well.



For a couple of nights we had fun taking pictures. She may have stayed in the bed, but she never stayed where she was put.



After a couple of nights of going to bed really well, she realized her new found freedom. The first night we put her in we started putting a baby gate over her door...mostly to keep her from just leaving in the middle of the night and walking around the house. It ended up we were picking her up off the floor to put her back in bed. She'd carry toys, books, her Beep...and set up camp there.

Somersaults!!!

Melia learned to somersault when we got back from PA. Once she figured it out, we couldn't get her to stop! It became a constant, "Look at me, look at me". Very lady like in her nightgown.

PA in June.

The three of us flew back to PA to visit everyone in early June. Melia was really restless on the plane and hated sitting still. I think it would have been better had I been able to bring a car seat with us on the plane...just too much to carry. We had a bag of toys and snacks, but she just didn't like being stuck in a seat for that long.



Shortly after arriving, Melia got sick! Of course that meant no sleep for us almost the entire trip. She was so miserable. Did not like the pack & play we had for her to sleep in. Let me know with her first nap. I put her upstairs to lay down. A couple of minutes later (after LOTS of screaming/crying) I heard her out of the room at the top of the stairs. She had climbed out on her own. The rest of the time, I was trying to get her to sleep with me and Cameron slept on an air mattress. If it wasn't one awake during the night, it was the other. We ended with an ER visit at 10 PM one night just because her fever had spiked and we were supposed to leave for Pittsburgh the next morning.



While down in Pittsburgh, we did a little shopping around the hotel. Grandma Beth took the kids to the pool while Aunt Lynn & I went to a concert. Our big plans though were to hit the Children's Science Museum. The kids had a lot of fun playing & exploring.



We had a picnic at Grandma Beth's and the kids got to play together. She pulled the little kiddie pool out into the yard and filled it up. The water was so cold!



At Papa Rick's, there was trampoline & 4-wheeler time! Melia LOVED it! They were out trying to find some wildlife. We did end up seeing quite a few deer while we were there.



We also took all the kids up to Erie to Waldameer. It ended up being a big picnic for Ellen's birthday. Ellen, Jack & Morgan came. Jess brought Will and Stella. Kathy came over with Stella. Then we had Aunt Sue, Steph, Shianne, and Grandma. Melia wasn't very happy because she wanted to ride all the rides and there were only a couple that she was tall enough to get on. Of course she was still feeling sick so that didn't help...most of the day was whining/crying.



In the car ride, Melia got a great hairdo from the AC vent blowing directly on her. Haha.



After Waldameer closed (they closed early), we ended up at Target. There is something about my kids and the lingerie section!



While we were there, we had Lynn's friend Nicole take some pictures for our Father's day gift. They turned out pretty cute for it pouring down rain. We were down at Drake Well. Literally as we arrived it started pouring! We ended up taking these up at the train station.



Melia really wasn't happy in one of them!
