She's giggling...

Through the month of October Melia has been doing new things. First, she discovered her hands. they are her favorite thing.



She also loves the fish mobile. Thanks to Bella for letting us borrow this one. She was not that interested in the swing we had. Not that she stays in this one a whole lot more, but when she is happy she loves to watch the fish go around and around. When they stop she will usually tell you by making noise.

We have discovered something that helps her sleep/nap better!! While it doesn't help her actually fall asleep (she still really struggles with that). She does tend to nap a little longer sleeping on her belly. And when she does she likes to lay straight down on her face!

She is always blowing bubbles!

And she's smiling all the time...or at least a lot of the time now.

She LOVES bath time!!! Just last week we transitioned her to the big tub so she can no longer look at the baby in the mirror.



She adores her big brother!! Cameron just comes around and she smiles ear to ear.

He still just loves her too, but can be a bit rough at times (without meaning to). Regardless, she seems to really like it.

And the best part of all...she is giggling!! About a week ago she laughed one time and then nothing. I don't think she realized she did it. Then the other night in the bath she wouldn't stop giggling! It was a little belly laugh. While we don't have a video of that...we did get one of her little giggles.

Melia is smiling!

On the 29th we had Melia in for her 2 month doctors appointment. She was up to 11 pounds 11 ounces, and had grown to 22 7/8 inches. We increased her acid reflux medicine...it is helping majority of the time. Starting to see more slight improvements in her fussiness. Still cannot fall asleep and stay asleep easy.

Melia helped us to celebrate Cameron's 3rd birthday! She went jumping with us at Flip-N-Out. Actually slept through the whole thing.



Then dinner at Claim Jumper.



At Cameron's birthday party she got to meet Angelica, who she will soon be spending her days with.



This is Melia wearing the mask Cameron made at Springs Preserve. She was sleeping and Cameron thought he would have her try it on for size.



Then there has been lots of fun with Grandma Donna and Grandpa Malcolm. She tagged along to go play mini golf and bowling.




For some reason she has the power to make Grandma's fall asleep on the job.



And then there is Melia sleeping on dad...her favorite position with him.
