I took the kids home for Easter. It had been 2.5 years since we made the trip so it was the first time everyone got to meet Melia. People told me I was crazy for trying to make the trip with 2 kids by myself. I will say it was a very long 5 hours both ways!! Cameron is a great traveler. Melia was confined to my lap and not overly happy about it. Plus she doesn't sleep well on someone so she cried herself to sleep a few times. We survived it though.
While there we got to meet Baby Preston. Paige made the trip over for a couple of days. They were great friends until Preston tried to use her to pull himself up to stand. He is about a month older, but she is so much bigger! At her 8 month appointment before we left, she was 22.5 pounds & 28.5 inches!
The night before Easter we stayed at Lynn's. Our plan was to have all the kids together that morning.

Melia loved her cousins Olivia & Ava! She was also in love with Paisley (their dog).
 |
| She was almost bigger than Ava. |
We had Easter dinner with the family down at mom's. Melia found an egg on the egg hunt...she loved to shake it.

Monday we spent the day up in Erie and visited the zoo. Melia wasn't really into the animals just yet. There were a few times she would see one and watch it a bit, but that was the extent of it.

We had all the family out to Dad's for dinner. Took some updated family pics. Melia of course had just fallen asleep so she slept through them off.

We took Melia to get her ears pierced!!! Daddy wasn't as excited. But they look so cute. He claimed he was taking Cameron to get tatoos when we got home. Yeah right.

| Cameron climbed in the pack & play. |
Even though it was pretty cold a few days, the kid were outside riding 4-wheelers.

We took the kids to get their pictures done together. It actually went really given we had to get all 4 kids to cooperate.
Melia loved the little rocking chair at Grandma Beths....and at the picture place.
She also learned how to clap her hands while we were there. All you have to do is start singing patty cake and she will start clapping.
Then just a few more shots from the rest of our trip.
