First Haircut!!

Melia's hair has been taking forever to grow in. I know from looking at past pictures that it's grown a LOT...even in the last 6 months. Lately it's been looking really shaggy and she has a rat tail in the back...where some of it is longer than the rest. It really looks bad. So, time for her first hair cut!

Cameron needed a haircut too. He's been going to Sports Clips. We really haven't had a lot of luck with places nearby for kids cuts. So I figured if they can cut his, they can cut hers. She really did very well! Hopped right up in the chair. At first, she wasn't sure what to think...then she enjoyed the attention.



It actually looked cute when she was done...like a little bob.



She especially enjoyed getting a lollipop at the end!! Made a nice mess of her car seat and she was so sticky.

Wekiwa State Park

Haley took the kids for a fun day out at Wekiwa State Park. They took a picnic lunch, did some hiking, and then cooled off in the water. They had so much fun!

Easter

We had lots of fun in the week leading up to Easter. Then to top it off, this year we had visitors for Easter weekend. Dad, Lisa, Kate, Liv & Jack came into town. Here is a snapshot of our holiday:

The goodies...Cameron was so excited to help Melia find her easter basket for the first time! She had fun pulling everything out. When she was done, it looked like Easter threw up all over my living room. During the egg hung, he even left some easy easter eggs so she could find them. Melia was more concerned with making sure she picked flowers to put in her basket.






Then of course there was some Disney fun. Melia LOVES Mickey.
