We've gone back to sleepless nights...really since mid-November! It got worse when she was sick and has never gotten better. We are having 1-2 hour stints again in the middle of the night where she screams due to the reflux. We had switched her to Prevacid...then the new doctor sent us to a specialty pharmacy to get the Prevacid made into liquid so we could give it to her twice a day and ensure she got the rigth dosing. Apparently we know we've "fixed" her when she starts sleeping through the night. We are still at 4x a night where she wakes up for one reason or another.
This photo was taken one night after she had been asleep a couple of hours...woke up crying for a while and we couldn't get her back to sleep so brought her down to let her play more.
She does love her jumperoo (at least for periods of time). Gets a kick out of it when Cameron crawls underneath her and lets her jump on him.
She is still very fascinated with her feet. Has actually learned how to take her socks off. Thinks it's funny.
Cameron's favorite game to play is "ghost". This is Cameron and Melia playing ghost. It basically just entails putting a blanket over your head...sometimes walking around. He thinks it's great. She gets a kick out of the covers being over her head too.
She has learned how to play peek a boo on her own with the covers in her bed. Haven't gotten a video of it yet. Mostly because she's done it at very inopportune times...like when it's time for bed and she is refusing to sleep. It's the cutest thing though and she giggles every time she pulls the blankets down. Will work on a video of it and post it soon.
Otherwise, she has mastered sitting up on her own. Still not rolling over though. At her 6-month appointment the doctor asked about it. We all came to the conclusion that she can do it, she just chooses not to. Part of that stubborn personality...and refuses to be on her belly due to the reflux I'm sure. To be honest, I really don't think she will crawl...I predict she will just walk. Loves to stand!
