First time sled riding!

We decided to head up to Mount Charleston and do some sled riding. Usually we go to Brian Head, but this year we decided to stay in Vegas so this was a quick afternoon trip. We were expecting cold so we brought Melia's thick snow suit. Should have brought the other one as it wasn't all that cold. Most of us were sled riding in just sweatshirts. It was perfect!

This was Melia's first time in snow...and sled riding. We weren't sure how she would do as she still tends to be very high maintenance! We were pleasantly surprised...she did great! When we first got there she was a little fussy. I just put her in a sled and pulled her around and she calmed right down. Even rode down the hill a few times and took a couple of cat naps.

Our intention was to take a sleigh ride. It was a bit over rated! But the sled riding certainly made up for it! We all had such a great time!
