Leaving Las Vegas

It's so sad to think that Melia will never remember living in Las Vegas...or the amazing friends we left behind. One of our last nights we took the kids down to the strip. Mostly because we wanted to get pictures by the Las Vegas sign...and Cameron wanted to see the Luxor and go up in the Stratosphere.

Michael, Monica & Ava came down to meet us at the sign and play photographer.

They loved the view from the top of the Stratosphere. In spite of it being pretty late by the time we go thtere...Melia was running around and in such a good mood. Didn't last long though. Moments after this picture was snapped, she ran and fell into the metal beam around the window. Hit her nose pretty bad. Blood literally poured from her face. We were expecting to see teeth knocked out...just a bloody nose though. Boy did she scream...and that nose was quite blue for several days.

 

Then on their last day with Laurie, we had to have a good bye pic! We will all really miss her!
