We started off looking for an actual costume for Melia. Cameron was going to be a scarecrow and so we thought it would be cute if Melia was the lion. At the store though we couldn't find the costume we were looking for. Instead, we ended up with this cute little outfit and we called her our pumpkin fairy.
Melia tagged along to all of our Halloween fun! She got to go to Springs Preserve for her first trick or treat experience and haunted hay ride. She slept through a lot of it...and lost a sock. We also visited the pumpkin patch where she got to watch Cameron ride on all of the rides. We did make sure though to pick out a pumpkin big enough to put her in it. While she was older than Cameron was for her first Halloween the photo wasn't going to be as cute as his. Instead she ended up sitting in the pumpkin instead of hanging over the side. We thought this was funny. She wasn't as entertained as we were. Cameron still gets a kick out of seeing this photo.
